Damage inflicted to the Russian Embassy in London as a result of 16/17 August attack

In the night 16/17 August 2012 the consular section of the Russian Embassy in London was attacked by a mob chanting slogans against the Syrian government and throwing stones towards the building. Several windows were broken, there has been a significant damage to the house. Fortunately none of the Embassy staff were injured.

On 7th July 2016 Consul General Mr Andrey A. Pritsepov presented the “The 70th Anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War” Medal and a personalized officer wrist watch “VOSTOK” of the Veteran Mr Thomas William Hunt to his son Mr Keith White Hunt.

On 1 July Assistant to the Military Attaché Andrey Fedorov presented the Ushakov medals to the Arctic Convoys veterans Mr Ronald Norman EVEREST, Everit Albert SKERRITT, Mr Frank WARD and Mr Harold James ABRAHAM, who were awarded this military honour by Decree of the President of the Russian Federation for their personal courage and bravery displayed in WWII.

Presentation of Kaluga region investment potential in the UK

On 15 July 2016 a presentation of Kaluga region investment potential took place at Embassy of the Russian Federation in the UK, attended by the Governor Anatoly Artamonov, the Ambassador Alexander Yakovenko, executives of the Russo-British Chamber of Commerce and representatives of the British and International business circles, interested in establishing direct contacts and developing mutually beneficial economic cooperation with Russian partners.
