Russian Embassy in London issues more visas

According to the Consular section of the Russian Embassy in London, Russian visas issuance increased by 3% in the first half of 2011 in comparison with the same period of 2010, reaching 49500.

The Russian side is doing its best to ease the visa procedures for citizens of foreign countries.  The Russian Embassy Consular section, the Russian General Consulate in Edinburgh and their visa application centres strictly keep the visa processing time at five working days for regular service and the next day for urgent service available for extra charge. The Russian Visa centres provide comfortable conditions for the applicants and it takes only 10-15 minutes to make an application. In the nearest future new specially equipped VIP premises will be functioning in the Visa application centres.
