Current travel restrictions for Russian nationals flying from London to Moscow

Due to multiple requests on COVID restrictions for Russian nationals traveling from London to Moscow we would like to remind you of the main travel rules to Russia.

Russian nationals, flying directly from London to Moscow, contrary to foreign ones, do not have to show the pre-departure PCR-test. Russian nationals need two PCR-test within 5 days upon arrival to the homeland. 1 day should be between the two tests. Until the second test is negative you should remain in self-isolation. Tests are mandatory for all Russian nationals, notwithstanding the age.

Besides, all arrivals from the UK, even transiting via third countries, are subject to 14 days self-isolation. Complying or non-complying with this rule is your personal responsibility.

Please, note that when taking a transit flight via a third country, you should check transit rules, including PCR-test, at the respective airline.

Beside the PCR-test, you need to fill in the form on Gosuslugi website about your arrival and download the test results. This is also possible by a simplified procedure.

The information on all changes in COVID restrictions will be updated on our website once it is available.
