The new travel rules for Russian nationals entering Russia

A new decision of Rospotrebnadzor entered into force on 7 June and two mandatory PCR-tests for Russian nationals coming back to the homeland are not necessary anymore. From now on, just one PCR-test is enough and it should be done within three days after arrival to Russia.

Besides, no PCR-test is needed if there is a proof that the person has been vaccinated within the last 12 months or had COVID within the last 6 months. This information must be filled out in a special form on Gosuslugi website.

One should take into account that such an information may be filled out on Gosuslugi based on the data from the state information system in the field of Healthcare of the Russian Federation.

At the same time the 14-days self-isolation for those arriving from the UK (under the decision of Rospotrebnadzor in December 2020) remains in force.

For more information, in particular, whether it is possible to upload the data on vaccination or COVID illness, made or suffered abroad, please consult Rospotrebnadzor and Gosuslugi website.

In case of traveling from Russia to the UK you should check the information on COVID restrictions in the UK. In the near future a further easing of these restrictions is planned. And we will keep you updated.
