Ambassador Yakovenko meets Charlie Rowley

On 6 April 2019 Ambassador Alexander Yakovenko met at his Residence with the victim of the Amesbury poisoning Charles Rowley and his brother Matthew upon their request. The focus of the discussion was on incidents in Salisbury in March 2018 and Amesbury in June 2018.

Ushakov Medal presented to the Arctic Convoys Veteran

On 10 November 2018 Third Secretary of the Embassy Vadim Retyunskiy presented the Ushakov medal to the Arctic Convoys veteran Mr Gerald HENRY who was awarded this military honour by Decree of the President of the Russian Federation for his personal courage and bravery displayed in WWII.

On 4th July the Russian Embassy hosted a meeting with the participants of the 10th edition of Young Diplomats Forum.
